In case you missed it, I took a machete to Refinery 29's ridiculous list of the 60 Best Mexican Restaurants in L.A, in L.A. Magazine's Digest yesterday. I'm recommending their list as a where NOT to eat Mexican food in L.A., from an e-commerce Fashion site that doesn't seem to know MacArthur Park from Huntington Park.
This is Los Angeles, Califorrrrrrrrrrrrrnia, cabronas! We know better.

Seems like you both missed the best Los Angeles Mexican Restaurant which is Coronado's in Downtown LA. Great family recipes and all of the food and beverages are super fresh. The decor could use some help, but since when do we seek out Mexican places for decor . . .
Darryl--Coronado's is a San Diego style taco shop in a more casual setting. Nice plug! For those looking for California burritos, it looks to be right up their alley.
There's some good Mexican restaurants in Tucson AZ, but I think it's more important to know which are the bad ones. Your stomach will thank you.
